A fully funded workshop will be held in Jakarta by
US ASEAN. This workshop is special for women specifically for entrepreneur
women. The activity will take place in Jakarta from 10-14 June 2019 (travelling
day on June 10 to Jakarta and travel back to their respective countries on June
15).
The fifth YSEALI Women’s Leadership Workshop that
hosted by US ASEN will gather 33 women entrepreneur from all 10 ASEAN countries
as well as Timor Leste.
The workshop will focus on capacity-building with an
emphasis on building economic capacity among ASEN participants in line with
international best practices. The program will include mentorship and will
emphasize participants’ ties with the larger ASEAN Economic Community.
Don’t worry this fully funded program will pay for
your travel ticket to Jakarta, accommodations and transportation while in
Jakarta, all program activities, and includes the potential for follow-on small
grant funding.
Who is Eligible to be involved in the workshop?
Are you an age 25-35 women with 3 to 5 years of
professional working experience, fluent in English, and university graduates?
If yes… they are looking at you.

Initiative. They build the leadership capabilities of youth in the region and
promotes cross-border cooperation to solve regional and global challenges.
YSEALI launched in 2013. It is U.S. government’s
signature program to strengthen leadership development and networking in
Southeast Asia. Through a variety of programs and engagements, including U.S.
educational and cultural exchanges, regional exchanges, and seed funding.
YSEALI seeks to build the leadership capabilities
of youth in the region, strengthen ties between the United States and Southeast
Asia, and nurture an ASEAN community. YSEALI focuses on critical topics
identified by youth in the region: civic engagement, sustainable development,
education and economic growth.
YSEALI programs include: Professional Fellowships
to the United States, Academic Fellowships to the United States, Regional
Workshops, and Grant Funding.

of youth in the region to address critical challenges and expand opportunities.
